1.What is the procedure to buy Prakash Laser machine?

1) Finalize your machine with our executive with all the other requirements.
2) Deposit 30% of the total payment.
3) We will prepare the machine for you after we receive your money.
4) After completion ,you can inspect the machine at our company. We can also send photos/videos if required.
5) After satisfaction, you pay the 70% balance to us.
6) We will send out the machine along with all the documents to you.
7) Finally done.

2. Do you offer any warranty for the machine or parts used in it?

yes,
Warranty:
1) The warranty of machine is 12 months, and during this period we will send you the parts (free of cost) for repair/replace. After the warranty period is over there would be a charge for the same.
2) The warranty of some parts like lens, mirrors and laser tube is 1 week after you receive the machine.
3) The warranty is dated from Ex Factory date.

3. How do you provide service to machine in need during warranty?

During warranty, we send parts for replacement and provide tech support to you directly (by video, photo, telephone, mail support or staff)

4. If my machine breaks down how long would it take to get started again..?

we understand that a Down time and waiting period could hurt your business so we try our level best to solve your problem within 24 hours.

5. Do you provide service support across India?

Yes we have our engineer strategically placed across India.

6. Can I also engrave with laser cutting machine..?

yes, with some power settings you can engrave to some extent with the same laser cutting machine giving you the double benefit.

7. Are you the manufacturer or supplier?

Both. We both manufacture and supply the laser systems in our company .

8. Do you provide the machine on EMI also?

No, we don’t provide the machine on EMI but we can tell you the procedure the bank follows.

9. Do you also customize the machine for specific applications?

Yes, we can do the customization according to the customer requirement. Some of the customizations we have done in past are :

  • Line integration to auto-generate serial no, shift code and date.
  • Integration of 2D code reading and camera system.
  • Built-to-order laser marking systems.
  • Integration with robot used to pick up the part and then cut or engrave.

1. How can I mark or engrave cylindrical parts?

To mark or engrave cylindrical parts we need to add an extra attachment i.e rotary attachment with the machine.

2. What is the warranty of laser tube and when I need to change it?

Laser tube comes with a warranty of 1 week and usually the colour of the laser beam changes when the tube is used up.

All the commonly used graphic softwares like CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD etc work well with laser systems.

2. What are the various file formats accepted by the software?

JPG, PNG, BMP, PLT, DST, DXF, CDR, AI, DSB, GIF, MNG, TIF, TGA, PCX, JP2, JPC, PGX, RAS, PNM, SKA, RAW

1. Can Prakash laser also cut glass?

No. With laser engraving machine we can only engrave the glass with different designs.

2. Can Prakash laser systems also cut metal?

No. currently we are focusing only on non-metal.. though it can be used for marking on metal.

3. What materials are unsafe to engrave and/or cut with the laser?

Hydrogen Chloride and Vinyl Chloride (mostly found in PVC and other man made materials) are hazardous to the life of your laser system. Engraving and cutting these materials can cause irreversible damage to your machine, so determining the components of your cutting and engraving materials is extremely important. Materials, such as Kydex, contain PVC.
